Tesla Model Y vs Audi Q4 e-tron: verdict and specifications

The Model Y takes the crown thanks to its rapid-charging capability, storming performance and vast interior space – however the Q4 e-tron’s styling (inside and out) is sure to win many over

Audi Q4 e-tron vs Tesla Model Y

1st: Tesla Model Y – 4.5 stars

While it loses some performance and range compared to the Model 3 that it shares 95% of its tech with, the Model Y still offers stunning practicality and speed, plus decent range for its class and loads of technology as standard. Ultimately, that slightly firm ride quality is the only thing we can really hold against it.

2nd: Audi Q4 e-tron – 4.5 stars

Although it finishes second here, the Q4 e-tron is still an excellent and very comfortable electric SUV, with a more traditional cabin design that some may prefer to the Tesla’s extremely minimalist effort. However, the Model Y edges out the Q4 e-tron thanks to its practicality and high-tech appeal. Plus, we also think that the cheaper, mid-range, rear-wheel-drive version of the Audi is actually the sweet spot of the range.
