Lexus CT 200h updated for 2019

Slimmed-down trim structure and new option packs for hybrid hatchback

Lexus CT 2019

The Lexus CT 200h range has been refreshed for 2019, with a simplified trim structure and a set of new option packs.

Mirroring the Lexus ES saloon and Lexus UX SUV, the entry-level model is simply the 'CT', with racy F Sport and luxurious Takumi grades completing the line-up. The range starts at £25,150 for the CT, rising to £27,150 for the F Sport and £31,250 for the Takumi.

The car's 1.8-litre petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain is unchanged. As standard, all CT 200h models come with the Lexus Safety System+ package, incorporating a pre-collision system, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams and sway warning.

Also standard across the line-up are 17-inch alloy wheels, sat nav, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and rain-sensing wipers.

F Sport adds its own design of alloy wheel, plus a special F Sport grille, steering wheel and pedals. It also gets black mirror housings, sports suspension, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and rear privacy glass.

Takumi features a sunroof, LED headlights a premium navigation system, a premium Mark Levinson stereo and parking sensors at the front as well as the rear.

Elsewhere, Lexus is offering Sport Pack, Premium Pack, Tech Pack and Takumi Pack option packages for the car.

The CT can be specified with the Sport Pack (£500), which adds black 17-inch alloys, black door mirror covers and front grille and the Tahara interior trim from the F Sport.

You can also add the Premium Pack (£1,000) to the CT, giving it smart entry, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass, heated front seats and the Tahara upholstery.

The Tech Pack (£750) is available for both the CT and F Sport, and provides the premium 10-inch navigation system, LED headlights with automatic levelling and headlamp washers.

Finally, there's the Takumi Pack (£4,850), which can be added to the F Sport only, giving it the premium stereo and premium navigation, along with a sunroof, power-adjustable F Sport front seats with leather upholstery and LED headlights with automatic levelling.
