It sounds like something from a Roadrunner cartoon, but the Buckeye Bullet 3 is the world’s fastest electric car. It crossed the timing beam at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2016 at 342.144mph. An even faster version is in the works, with hydrogen-electric power.
