Renault Master E-TECH wheelbases, roof heights, specification and options

Three different wheelbase configurations (SWB, MWB and LWB) are available, as well as two roof heights (LR and MR). The Master E-TECH is based on the Business specification level of the regular diesel Master, so it gets electric windows and mirrors, DAB radio, Bluetooth, a CD player, USB, steel bulkhead, electronic stability control, hill-start assistance and trailer swing assistance as standard.

The Master E-TECH also gets a side charging socket, a pre-heating function and the 'Z.E. Voice' system. The latter emits a sound at low speeds so the van will be more noticeable to pedestrians. Options include a three-pin charging cable and a three-year renewal subscription to the 'My Z.E. Connect' service, which lets you view the van's remaining range on a smartphone or computer.

Through its Pro+ Business Centre dealer network, Renault can also offer converted vehicles based on the Master E-TECH, including a Luton body, refrigerated unit and parcel-delivery configuration.

Prices and release date

All versions of the Master E-TECH are eligible for the Government's full plug-in van grant of £8,000. That takes the pre-VAT price of the LM31 platform cab model to £45,700, while the LL31 platform cab costs £46,500 before VAT. The entry-level panel-van version (the SL31) comes in at £46,400, with the SM31 costing £47,000, the MM31 costing £48,000 and the range-topping LM 31 offered for £48,800. Order books are open now.
