Vauxhall Mokka-e boot space & seating

Ideal for small families, the Mokka-e offers reasonable practicality – just not as much space as some of its rivals

In terms of practicality, the Mokka-e is exactly what you’d expect from a car in this class. While not as roomy or as practical as a larger electric SUV, it should suit small families well. The boot is slightly smaller than a petrol or diesel Mokka due to the presence of the battery, but it is larger than the Corsa-e's and you’ll still be able to fit plenty in.

Vauxhall Mokka-e interior space, storage & comfort

In the back, there’s plenty of headroom for adult passengers, but kneeroom isn’t all that generous. There's storage under the boot floor as well for your charging cables, so they won’t take up boot space. There are two cupholders in the centre console and sizeable door bins all round.

Boot space

If you’re looking at a small SUV for your next car, it’s likely because you want some more room than you get in a typical supermini. Thankfully, despite what you might think when you see the Mokka-e’s stylish roofline, there are 310 litres of boot space on offer. Yes, that's smaller than a petrol-engined Mokka, but still beats the Corsa-e's 267-litre capacity.

However, you’ll find more boot space in some of the Mokka-e’s rivals, such as the Mazda MX-30 (366 litres) or Kia e-Niro (451 litres), as well as its French sibling the Peugeot e-2008 (434 litres).
